About Daniel Shafer

I started out skiing at a very young age and switched to snowboarding and have been snowboarding for 11 years and this will be my 4th season teaching! I started out just just going once a year like most people and then fell in love and moved to the mountains so I could snowboard all season long.

Daniel was extremely patient and clear in his instructions. He was especially so good with our 5 year old daughter such that she became excited for skiing. It was an overall wonderful experience and have made us committed to progress in skiing! We highly recommend Daniel as an instructor and will definitely use snowschoolers again.

Daniel helped my nine-year old get started with snowboarding. I was pleased to see her being able to strap herself in and start moving down the slopes all on her own. Thank you Daniel for your patient instruction.

We really appreciated Daniel’s patience with our family of five. We had never been snowboarding before so everything was brand new. We had a variety of ages starting from 35-6 years old. Daniel took the time to throughly explain safety measures as well as some of his best tips, to where our six year old could even understand. We felt very safe on the slopes with him. Our family truly enjoyed our day! Thanks again Daniel for spending your Christmas Day with us! We look forward to booking another session!

Daniel was great! My children said he was very observant. One child said he taught her to do a 180. Another child said he knew how to give good feedback so they knew what to work on to improve. He was respectful to the parents and willing to accommodate a wide range of abilities.

my instructor is very patient and friendly. I was able to get repeated practice on making turns. My instructor also demonstrated what I did that was incorrect himself so I can visualize how I should do the maneuver. Overall a great lesson.

Daniel was an amazing instructor. Our kids said that he was very nice and liked that he didn't push them to do things they weren't ready for. He gave them options to progress or stay doing what they were working on. This was huge for my kids and they were doing turns by the end of their first lesson! Not bad for Florida kids. Sam was also super friendly and helpful. We will be back for sure!
